How is Pakistan defining Forced Conversions of Religious Minorities?

In this video Zeeba T. Hashmi, founder of Ibtidah, tells of her experience of attending Parliamentary Committee meeting on protecting minorities from forced conversions held on 16th November, 2020 where she was invited to present findings from the report “Impacts of Forced Conversions on Education of Minority Girls”, which she co-authored with Rabbia Arshad Turkmani. In this video, she has raised two concerns over how forced conversions is being defined by the committee:

1. Why is there a hesitance of including economic coercion in the definition of forced conversion
2. Why is Council for Islamic Ideology given the task of defining forced conversions when there is no minority representation in its body
